After several years of studying under a dilapidated structure, pupils of the Amuni D /A Primary School in Wassa Amenfi West District can now boast of a newly constructed six-unit classroom block.

The project which received funding from the District Assembly’s Common Fund was aimed providing a permanent place of study to the pupils who were previous occupying a temporal makeshift structure.

Mr. Victor Samuel K. Mesu, Chief Executive for the assembly however expressed the need for the project as that to improve infrastructure in the education sector, to help improve basic education to a preferred standard.

He said government was much enthused to make available such project but charged beneficiaries to take advantage if initiatives of such kind were made available.
