After constructing a new Community Based-Health Service Compound for Kyeikrom and a nurses’ bungalow at Manso Amenfi, the Wassa Amenfi West District Assembly has done it again by renovating  the Bissaso community clinic to enhance health delivery in the area.

The clinic has currently been expanded and provided with modern hospital materials to enhance quality health care.

When Ghanadistricts.com visited the clinic to have a firsthand look of work done, some patients were spotted comfortably seated in newly looking facility waiting to be attended to.

Chief Executive for the assembly, Victor Samuel K. Mesu however noted that the recent infrastructure boost in the District’s health sector forms part of the "Better Ghana" agenda which seeks to improve health conditions of the ordinary Ghanaian citizenry.

He said few more of such projects are expected to be constructed in some selected communities in the District, adding that the construction of Maternity Ward at Asankragwa Catholic Hospital was still ongoing.
