A new classroom block at Odumase-Amanfro M/A Junior High School (JHS) in the Ga West Municipality is nearing completion in the area.

The project which started during the early months of this year according to the Assemblyman for Nsakina Electoral Area, Mr.  Frank Tetteh wil be completed before the end of this year and handed over to the appropriate authorities.

He said he school was currently running a shift system and that he believes the new classroom block is aimed at halting that system in the area.

“The increasing number of the population is affecting pressure education facilities,” he added.

He said as at now each class has about has about eighty (80) pupils in a class, a situation he said did not allow the teachers to have adequate time to teach the kids.
