Residents living in Nyinahin and its environs are to enjoy quality healthcare delivery as a reproductive and child health block (RCH) has been inaugurated amidst fanfare in the the Atwima-Mponua District Hospital.

Millicom Ghana Limited, operators of TIGO, a telecommunication network, financed the GHs70, 000.00 facility as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Gratefull as she was, the District Chief Executive for the Atwima-Mponua Assembly, Madam Theresa Adomako Tawiah said the success of the project was as a result of the public-private-partnership initiative.

She however called on benevolent organizations and philanthropists to complement government’s efforts in accelerating development in the country.

Mr Abdir-EL-Youssefi, Chief Executive Officer of Millicom Ghana, said they were proud to be associated with efforts at assisting mothers and children to have access to quality health services.

For his part, Alhaji Dr Yusuf Adamu Al-Hassan, the Medical Superintendent, said the block provides adequate space for efficient reproductive health service delivery.
