Government is still committed to curtailing difficult access to potable water in the hinterlands, as the Kassene Nankana East Municipal Assembly has assisted the completion of 3 no. boreholes in some communities in the municipality.
The project was executed under the District Wide Assistance Project (DWAP) courtesy the NDC government’s “Better Ghana” agenda programme.
The project is expected to considerably ease the stress and difficulty people are inundated with regarding accessibility to safe drinking water in the area.
The three communities which benefited from the project include Akuka, Nyangua and Korania respectively.
