A new kindergarten (KG) block for the Institute of Islamic Studies is nearing completion in the Effiduase North Electoral Area in the Sekyere East District in the Ashanti Region.

The facility when completed will serve infants of school going age in the town.

The Assemblyman Mr. Abdul-Razar Kadir who informed Ghanadistricts.com of the project observed that the institute previously was using a mosque as a temporal structure to teach the children; a situation the assemblyman said was not the best hence the need to provide them with a befitting structure.

 The project which is being financed through the District Development Fund (DDF) according to Mr. Abdul-Razak was currently about 70% completed.

He was hopeful the project would be completed before the end of the year.

In another development, Mr. Abdul-Razak indicated that feasibility studies had been carried out to ascertain the best place for a borehole to be drilled for them complaining that the area had difficulties in accessing water.
