SEKYERE EAST : Okaikrom Market still under Construction

Kennedy Owusu, the assemblyman for Okaikrom a community in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti region has disclosed that  work is still on-going on the  ultra modern market being constructed in the area.

Kennedy Owusu, the assemblyman for Okaikrom a community in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti region has disclosed that  work is still on-going on the  ultra modern market being constructed in the area.

According to him the project funded through the district assembly common fund (DACF) is on the verge completion. He added that the move is part of arrangements executed to boost economic activities in the area.

The assemblyman disclosed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com and further stated that another 6 unit classroom funded by the District Development Fund has been completed to help improve the quality of education in the community.

Hon. Owusu further revealed that the only KVIP in Feyiase is currently undergoing a renovation process adding that the three communities in his electoral areas should be provided with KVIP each to add up to the already existing ones in the area.

He appealed to the Member of Parliament for the constituency Hon. David Hennric Yeboah to pace up his promise of providing the communities with extra KVIPs and boreholes in the various communities.

He finally appealed to government to extend electricity to Okaikrom and its surrounding communities like Bomso, Ahwerewa and Feyiaso.
