Fire service personnel in the Akwamu Effiduase Electoral Area can now afford to smile as government procures a brand new fire tender to alleviate the stress personnel go through in the discharge of their duty. 

The new fire tender is expected to assist the personnel fight fire oubreaks during emergencies situations without much problems.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com the assemblyman for the area Kwaku
Amoako disclosed that, the delivery was in responds to residents appeal to the government for the provision of a new facility to replace the community’s old fire tender which broke down long ago.

The assemblyman expressed concerns on some of the problems personnel who work in the community were facing before the interventions. He noted that the new facility will now speed up efforts by the fire service anytime there is an outbreak of fire.

Mr. Amoako charged personnel of the fire service to use the facility for its intended purpose and seek its proper maintenance to benefit the community.

In other development , Mr. Amoako revealed that renovation works are currently ongoing to reshape the dilapidated District Court in the area into modern structure. The assemblyman said that the project funded by the District Assembly is almost completed.
