In order to address the concerns raised by certain individuals regarding the strengthening of the security in the area, the Bawku West District Assembly has resolved to install additional streetlights in Zebilla township.

In this light, the Assembly has procured some good number of streetlights which are yet to be mounted in the principal streets of Zebilla to further enhance the social development brought about by the implementation of the “Better Ghana” agenda in the area.

Assembly member for the Zebilla electoral area, Agbango Simon Ayande in an interview with Ghanadistrict.com expressed delight on the good news for the town, saying that these project yet to be executed will pave way to beef up security in Zebilla township.

Meanwhile, the Assembly in the quest to improve accommodation for teachers in the educational system has moved to undertake the construction of a 3 storey flat for teachers at Zebilla Senior High School (SHS).

Works on the project is currently moving steadily so as to complete it on schedule for the teachers of the school.
