SEKYERE EAST: Asokore West Assemblyman craves for boreholes.
The Assemblyman for Asokore West Electoral area in the Sekyere East District, Frimpong Amoateng Solomon has appealed to government to construct at least three mechanized boreholes to help improve health situations in his area.

The Assemblyman for Asokore West Electoral area in the Sekyere East District, Frimpong Amoateng Solomon has appealed to government to construct at least three mechanized boreholes to help improve health situations in his area.
According to him, water conditions in the community was appalling,as he noted that the entire community depends on a single well in the area.
Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Frimpong Amoateng Solomon stated that the well is now used by some people in the area as a place of convenience, “the community has recently been restricted from fetching water from it since an unknown person defecated into it” he said.
Mr. Frimpong reiterated that, official appeals have been made to the District Assembly over the issue, but had still not received any positive response yet.
He noted that the situation is posing a great threat on the health status of the people in the area and therefore craved for an immediate attention to it.
Mr. Frimpong also pleaded government to speed up the road construction which is currently on-going in the area, adding that the project when duly completed will enhance transportation and reduce the number of hours spent on the road due to the numerous pot-holes on it.
He further called on the government to provide electricity poles to help embark on their long awaited electricity project.
He however revealed that the Municipal Chief Executive for the district has already procured bulbs and other materials for the commencement of the project.
The assemblyman praised government for some of the developmental projects provided for the community.
