Mr James Coffie Agbemavie, the Assembly member for the Kpetoe Electoral Area has called for concious efforts to uplift the standard of education in the Adaklu-Anyigbe District.

He expressed regret that in this modern times some schools in the district still have classes under trees and appeal to government and well wishers to come to their aid in building more schools and classroom blocks.

Mr Agbemavie was not also happy about the number of teaching professionals in the district to cater for the increasing number of enrolment in schools and suggested that teaching assistants should be engaged as a temporiry measure to augment the current teaching staff while government make efforts to train more qualified ones to take up the mantle.

These interventions he admitted are very vital to encourage the youth to have quality education to face the challenges of life.

"There is enough land for any developmental project including building of schools and we the citizens are ready to render any service to ensure the attainment of the needed development of the district.
