As part of the ceremony, the MCE and her delegation inspected the facility to assess the quality of the rehabilitation works. Expressing satisfaction with the outcome of the project, she commended all those involved in its execution and emphasized the importance of preserving the facility.
She called on community members to take ownership of the dam by ensuring its proper use, routine maintenance, and protection so that it can continue to serve the needs of the community for generations to come.
The Chief and people of Natugnia conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to the Municipal Assembly and all stakeholders who contributed to the successful completion of the project. They described the rehabilitated dam as a significant intervention that will boost agricultural productivity, improve livelihoods, and accelerate socio-economic development in the area.
