Ejura MCE supports private school teachers with GHc20,000

Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura Sekyeredumasi , Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba has donated ¢20,000 to support private school teachers who are currently not being paid following the closure of schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The MCE disclosed that the donation which comes from his personal contribution is to cushion the teachers and also show gratitude to the efforts exhibited by the teachers to raise future responsible leaders.

He added that he has been in touch with the leadership of the private school teachers in the Municipality to express his solidarity.

He then encouraged the teachers not to relent but to keep giving their best to communities to change the narrative in the municipality.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Bamba has also promised to support the disinfection exercise of 120 private schools ahead of the resumption of classes.
