The Ahafo Ano North District Assembly has completed work on a six separate modern teachers’ bungalows in Tepa to make life better for teachers who are posted there and subsequently elevate the standard of education to a preferred standard.

The Ahafo Ano North District Assembly has completed work on a six separate modern teachers’ bungalows in Tepa to make life better for teachers who are posted there and subsequently elevate the standard of education to a preferred standard.

Mr. David Addai Amankwah, Chief Executive for the assembly made this revelation when speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com to highlight on some projects executed by the assembly.

“We realized that the teachers were poorly accommodated in the area and so the assembly came to a conclusion to construct as many as six teachers’ quarters to help improve the situation and also boost the morale of teachers to deliver their best” he said.

He said other deprived communities in the district will soon receive a fair share of the project, adding that plans were far advance kick-start similar projects in some selected communities.

The DCE assured teachers that government through the assembly was always committed to improving their welfare in order to attain quality education for the nation’s future adults, telling them to stay calm since the government would work to ensure they are not worst off.

Touching on sanitation, the DCE was however quick to assert that the assembly has done tremendously well as far as sanitation is concerned, disclosing that, a new 10-seater water closet (WC) toilet facility has been construct and commissioned to complement the already existing once  in Tepa.
