President John Dramani Mahama is expected in the Ahafo-Ano North District in the Ashanti Region next week to inspect and commission some completed projects.

Mr. Mahama is also expected to use the opportunity to hold discussions with some leaders and public officials at the Assembly and various communities he visits, in order to address the needs and concerns of the people.

Disclosing this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Chief Executive for the assembly, Mr. David Addai Amankwah further noted that the president is scheduled to arrive in the district on Monday 24th March 2014 to “perform some official duties in the district”.

However, touching on some of the projects executed by assembly, Mr. Addai Amankwah asserted that the assembly has performed creditably well to completed most projects with few others still under construction.

He mentioned ongoing District Hospital and Jubilee market projects at Tepa as a few of the projects still ongoing, adding that work was progressing steadily on both projects to meet their scheduled time of completion.

He stated that the projects were both financed by the Government of Ghana (GoG).
