A new Municipal Chief Executive has finally been named by the President for the Wenchi Municipal Assembly in the Brong Ahafo Region.

The new MCE by name, Mr. Dauda Hakibu is expected to facilitate development within the municipality to complement the efforts of government in developing the country.

His nomination was contained in a statement released on Monday from the Media Office of Flagstaff House Communication Bureau, Office of the President.

The following nominations were also captured in the release:

They are Gomoa East: Isaac Kingly Ahunu, Bawku Municipal: Isahaku Bukari, Ejura Sekyedumase: Mohammed Bawa Braimah, Mampong Municipal: Mohammed Kojo Aboasu and Wa East: Abudul- Karimu Abudu.
