In a bid to share the national cake fairly, the Wenchi Municipal Assembly has procured and distributed 200 low tension to communities within its jurisdiction to enable them to also enjoy from the national power grid system.

The poles were made available to the communities through their Assemblymembers, Municipal Planing Officer for the Wenchi Municipal Assembly, Mr. James A Ata-Era told Ghanadistricts.com in an interview.

According to him the procurement of the poles was financed through the District Development Fund whiles adding that the project seeked to make it easier for households, stores, small and medium businesses to be able to connect  to electricity power in the area.
