BOLE:DCE calls for collective effort to speed development

The District Chief Executive for the Bole District, Alhaji Sampson Abudu has urged the people of the area to shed their political differences and work together to facilitate development.

The District Chief Executive for the Bole District, Alhaji Sampson Abudu has urged the people of the area to shed their political differences and work together to facilitate development.

He said: "It is only when we come together with good ideas that we can collectively move this country to another level where the lives of our people could be improved."

The DCE who made these observation during the 56th Independence Day parade of school pupils and students of selected schools at  Bole,stressed that "the government is committed to ensuring that good social policies and interventions are put in place to change the lives of the people".

Alhaji Seidu Abudu also took a swipe to advise drivers and road users on the incessant and alarming rate of the carnages on the roads in the district,appealing to drivers to be patient enough so as to save innocent souls on the roads.

The outstanding schools that performed well during the march past on the day were given some prizes ranging from motorbikes, coloured television sets and roofing sheets. 

He appreciated the efforts of the chiefs and people of the district for their support and cooperation in relation to the improvement in development of the district.
