In order to assist enhance the convenience of the Police in Tumu to enable them give off their best in the service, the Sissala East District Assembly has managed to donate some set of furniture to the Tumu Divisional Police.

The gesture is also in consonance with the strategies and plans set by the NDC government to strengthen the security systems at all levels to ostensibly promote and preserve absolute peace and calmness in the country.

Besides the Assembly has also yearned to extend electricity facility to the Divisional Police at the area which forms part of the energy delivery programme implemented by the government in the local areas.

Hon. Sulemana Alijata Gbentie, new Member of Parliament for the Sissala East constituency in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com has said that she would assist to wholly promote development in the area across-board in all the sectors.

She pledged her support to the Assembly to advance the “Better Ghana” agenda programme tom inure the benefits of the people living in the area.
