The Ministry of Education has joined forces with the Wa East District Assembly to supply good number of school furniture to some selected basic schools in the quest to improve quality education in the area.

For the purposes of boosting school furniture in schools located in the district, a minimum of 2,000 dual desks has been delivered to lower and upper primary schools, whiles in the Kindergarten level about 1,000 tables with 6,000 chairs have been provided for school kids.

This was made known in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com by the District Chief Executive for the area, Ameen Salifu, to discuss some of the educational gains in the area.

He said the move will ostensibly contribute in enhancing the standard of education in the district, as school children will now secure adequate furniture to aid them in teaching and learning activities.

This he said was initiated to power the “Better Ghana” agenda for residents in the area.
