The District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoma Tony Nyame has denied allegations in the media that he assaulted his house boy Anthony Kwasi Owusu for attributing spiritual enchantment to him.
Explaining the issue to Accra based Peace fm the DCE dismissed claims that he was spotted naked while burying a cat at his back yard by his house boy describing it as a total fabrication intended to tarnish his hard earned image.
He added that he often had to bury dead animals because he has wild dogs that will attack and kill any animal especially cats that entered his residence in his absence and was therefore mischievous for anybody to attach spiritual connotation to that exercise. He said the allegation is meant to tame his political ambitions.
“I have wild dogs in my house and these dogs drives away or most at times kill every one of them when they dare come to my house and I after was bury them when these cats are killed within the encounter”
He further revealed that the activity of burying the said cat even took place in the afternoon by a Zoom-lion worker called Atta and not midnight as disclosed by the house boy in the earlier reports.
Nyame further confirmed allegations he leveled against his house boy for purportedly stealing his valuables like cement and roofing sheets aside the already listed items such as salt, meat, tooth paste and coconuts which he refused to report to the police.
