As part of measures to ensure easy access to education and increase the literacy rate in the Jirapa district, the Jirapa District Assembly has embarked on some good number of developmental projects in the area of education.
It is believed that this projects undertaken would go a long way to ensure the desired ends in education for the people of Jirapa and its environs.
The Projects include a constructed Semi-detached teachers quarters at Jirapa Senior High School, and St. Francis Senior School, as well as a 3 unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Vingving.
The Projects which have been completed were all financed by the assembly from the District Development fund(DDF).
Though the Assembly expressed joy for completing such projects, it is however making conscious effort to deliver more on education to improve the standard of education in the area.
