The Kpandai District Assembly in collaboration with other stakeholders in the district has established an inter- party peace committee known as the Kpandai District Inter Party Peace Committee to among other things ensure peace and safety of the citizenry before, during and after the elections in December.

The District Chief Executive who disclosed this to Ghanadistricts.com, said the commitee is made up of representatives from political parties, security officers and other influencial members in the society.

He added that there is also another association of chiefs and opinion leaders who are usually assisted by the information officer from Nanumba South District in organizing forums to advise individuals to comport themselves during the election period.

He expressed optimism that by these efforts every would be held peacefully.
