The District Chief Executive of Kpandai, one of the newly created districts, Mr James Kpajal has appealed to government and NGOs to help put up staff accommodation to provide comfort to the workers of the Assembly for a smooth take off.

"As a new district, inadequate accommodation remains a major problem facing the assembly.

Currently, not only are staff sharing small apartments but some also have to travel very long distances to work every day".

He added that the assembly had to renovate some old structures which are being used as offices and staff bungalows.

According to him, the assembly is looking forward to receiving funds from the government for the construction of an assembly complex , however, they will appreciate any help that would enable them put up more staff quarters immediately.

He expressed joy that through the GETfund, an education directorate complex is under construction and hope it will be completed on schedule for effective educational administration in the district.
