A 3-classroom block each is under construction for two communities in the Kpandai District in the Northern Region.

The beneficiary schools include Kabowule primary and Chakori Primary.

The District Chief Executive, Mr James Kpajal, who disclosed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts said the two projects are being financed by the European Union(EU) which provided 75 percent while the communities are expected to provide the rest 25 percent which usually comes in a form of labour.

He indicated that where the communities are not able to fulfil their part, the assembly takes it up.   

Already, the European Union (EU) has released 65 per cent of fund, he added.

The DCE appeal to beneficiary communities to give the necessary support to the contructors to ensure that the project is completed on time for use.
