Six more Municipal and District Chief Executives have been appointed by President John Mahama in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.

The new appointees when approved by their respective assembly
members will occupy the vacant MMDCE positions at the assemblies following the termination of appointments of the incumbent ones.

They are;

1. Jasikan: Killian Abrampah Kwame
2. Central Tongu: Mary Ama Theodora Agbenyenu
3. Ketu South: Francis K. Dzineku
4. Nkwanta South: Peter Kenyenso
5. Ho Municipal: Mrs. Fafa Adinyira
6. Kpando Municipal: Paulina Delali Adinyirah

These names were among a list of 30 new MMDCEs released by the Local Government Minister, Mr. Oppong Fosu on Monday 26, August 2013.
