Some Assembly members and staff members of the Prestea Huni Valley District in the Western Region have welcomed the re-nomination of the District Chief Executive, Hon. Robert Wisdom Kudjoe.

They are pleasantly excited at the honour done the DCE by the president due to his sterling performance in the last four years since assuming office.

President John Dramani Mahama, in accordance with Section 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462, is mandated to make nominations to Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), which Hon. Robert Wisdom Kudjoe is fortunate to be a beneficiary.

Several of the assembly men who spoke to Ghanadistricts.com such as the assemblyman for Awudua Electoral area, Hon. Isaac K. Tawiah stated that the president has done Prestea Huni Valley a great deal of service with the re-nomination of the DCE.

He said he and several of his colleagues are not the least surprised at the re-nomination of Hon. Isaac K. Tawiah as he performed excellently by ensuring a lot of development in the area.

He enumerated some of the achievements chalked by the DCE which included the construction of a new Administration Block, bungalows for the District Coordinating Director and some staff of the assembly.

Hon. Isaac K. Tawiah stated that a guest house constructed by the DCE which generates income for the assembly is one major achievement that the DCE can lay claim to.

He was confident that the re-nomination of Hon. Hon. Robert Wisdom Kudjoe will see an enhanced development in the area.
