Residents of Bogoso, the District capital of Prestea Huni Valley in the Western Region have been provided with a nine seater Water Closet (WC) toilet facilities as part of efforts to improve sanitation in the area. 

The project was however specially designed by the assembly under the “Better Ghana” agenda initiative which seeks to improve upon the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian citizen.

However information gathered by Ghanadistricts.com indicates that the facilities is duly completed and in use was financed through the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF).

Meanwhile, the assembly has also completed renovation works on a 3 unit classroom block for the Prestea Goldfields School as part of efforts to boost academic activities in the school so as to elevate education in the area to a preferred standard.
