The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Assembly has successfully executed eight new projects in the education and health sectors, Mr. Joe Bondah District Chief Executive has said.

He said the projects, which will be officially handed over before the end of this  month was a sign of improvement made by the Better Ghana Agenda.

Mr. BondaHe made this known when addressing an ordinary meeting of the Assembly at Bibiani.

In revenue mobilization, the DCE said they had collected a total of GH¢713,884.69 as at the end of August, describing it as an improvement in previous ones.

He told the meeting that some feeder roads in the area had been awarded on contract to allow for easy transportation of food and cash crops to the marketing centres.
They include Mframakrom-Adupri-Tanoso, Asawinso-Diaso and the Chirano-Adiembra roads.

He also spoke of efforts at extending electricity to more communities and mentioned among them, Mpesiem, Kwaakrom, Adiembra, Krodua , Aboabo, Kwaaso and Abokyikrom.
