Major towns and communities in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District in the Western Region have been connected to the national grid to improve economic activities in the areas.

Towns such as Bibiani, Sefwi-Bekwai, Awaso, Anhwiaso, Subri, Sefwi Wenchi, Humjibre, Patoboso are among communities that had benefited from the project initiated under the "Better Ghana" agenda.

When Ghanadistricts.com visited the District, the entire Bibiani Township and some surrounding communities such as Sefwi Bekwai, Anhwiaso and Awaso had been provided with pipe borne water and boreholes with more areas expected to be covered in due corse.

Meanwhile, some physically challenged persons in the District had also received items from the assembly to help improve their standard of living in the area.

Item presented include Deep- freezers, televisions, refrigerators, wheel chairs among others.
