The Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), one of the government’s policies to bridge the socio-economic gap between the Northern and the Southern sectors of Ghana, seems to be taking shape as most districts have started benefiting hugely from the initiative.

The programme  seeks to improve the socio-economic development of the Savannah belts of the country through strategic investment in resource developments.
The programme amongst other things is also aimed at ensuring the modernization of agricultural production for large markets.

Due to this, SADA has provided two brand new tractors to the Nkwanta North District Assembly to boost agricultural activities in the area.

The District Chief Executive, Paul Levin Gyato who made this known to Ghanadiastricts.com noted that the initiative implemented by the Mills-administration came at the right time to support the country’s agricultural sector especially in food production.

He however expressed appreciation to SADA and added that the Assembly will use the tractors for their intended purposes and ensure their proper maintenance.
