Works are seriously underway to complete an emergency 6-unit classroom block for the Dunkwa Secondary Technical School in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality of the Central Region.

The project which is about 60 percent complete is to beef-up the school’s infrastructure system in the various classrooms after the four year educational policy by the erstwhile Kuffour’s administration.

Speaking in interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive Peter Kofi Owusu-Ashia however described the situation as unfortunate adding that the past administration did not take proper consideration into some this problem involved before initiating their policy.

 He said his outfit was doing its possible best to ensure that the project is completed before July this year to ensure the intended purpose.

the MCE added that a similar emergency project was executed at the Boa-Amponsem Senior High School (SHS), to match the school’s enrolment level.
