ASSIN N:Assin Fosu water shortage to end soon
Residents of Assin Fosu in the Assin North Municipality in the Central Region will now have access to potable water supply as the assembly has signed a new deal with Vicco Ventures to improve the community’s acute water shortage.

Residents of Assin Fosu in the Assin North Municipality in the Central Region will now have access to potable water supply as the assembly has signed a new deal with Vicco Ventures to improve the community’s acute water shortage.
The project is to augment a similar 14-month water projects which were executed in some parts of the municipality by the assembly at a cost of GHs 5,335, 097.
Assin North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Alexander Antwi Boasiako in a speech set the record straight that the project was to fulfill the ruling party’s “Better Ghana” agenda of ensuring that as many a possible communities have access to potable water.
He charged the water and sanitation committee to gear-up their efforts to secure enough fund to execute similar projects to ensure adequate water supply in every corner of the municipality.
According to him, residents should make good use of the opportunity offered to them by the assembly and connect the pipes to their various households when the project is completed.
