The Assin North Municipal Assembly has presented about 46 motor bikes to Assembly members and government appointees from the municipality to enhance their work.

This move is in fulfillment of the pledge made by President Mills to practically deepen the local government system and to strengthen the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies(MMDA’s) to achieve the needed development in the local areas.

In a short address to present the bikes to the beneficiaries, the Municipal Chief Executive, Alex Antwi Bosiako indicated that a total of 48 motor bikes were supposed to be handed over to these beneficiaries, adding that the remaining bikes will soon be delivered to them.

The motor bikes given out to the various Assembly members are supposed to help them in diverse ways, as it would seek to smoothen the operations of the beneficiaries in their respective electoral areas.
