In a bid to enhance transportation networks in the area, the Nkwanta North District Assembly in the Volta Region has completed  Rehabilitation works on four (4) feeder roads.

They include Kpasa-Lamina, Kpasa-Tinjase, Kpasa-Danladi and Damanko-Pibila roads respectively.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Paul Levin Gyato disclosed that the project was part of the assembly’s efforts to ensure smooth transportation within and outside the district.

He said the roads were however identified by the assembly to be in bad shape which needed repairs to ease the difficulties  motorist go through on those roads.

In other related issue, the DCE further stated that work has commenced on the construction of the Kpasa to Kofinyini road.

He said the GHs95, 000 estimated road is aimed at ensuring that the road becomes motorable.
