The Assemblyman for Abonkosu Electoral Area in the Sekyere Central District Hon. Martin Osei has appealed to the assembly to focus its attention on accelerating works on the on-going developmental projects being carried-out within the community.

Hon. Martin expressed his displeasure about the construction of some infrastructural projects which have been stalled for a while; a situation he said would impede the efforts to ensure the delivery of quality education in the area.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com, the assemblyman noted that a 2 unit lintel level kindergarten classroom block which was started three years ago and was expected to solve classroom accommodation problem upon completion is still under construction, a situation which has compelled teachers of the Abonkosu LA primary school to create temporal space for the students. 

The assemblyman further called on government to construct a new KVIP and Urinal for the school to prevent the pupils from walking far distances before getting places of convenience and also to enhance sanitation conditions in the school.
