The MCE for Sekyere Central Ebenezer Akuoko Frempong has issued a stern warning to fulanis heading towards his district to review their intentions or face stiff opposition from the residents of the area.

According to him the assembly is aware of the gradual movement of some Fulani herdsmen to the area due to the rancor that has ensued between the herdsmen and the people of Agogo where most of the herdsmen leave with their cattle.

The MCE noted that though the district is open to all they will not tolerate any group of people who will come and cause mayhem for residents of the area. In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com he disclosed that the district Security Council is meeting over the issue to map effective ways to stop the herdsmen from entering the area.
