ATEBUBU-AMANTIN: Asare primary, magistrate court gets facelift

The Atebubu District Assembly has spent a total amount of GH¢420,000.00 for the rehabilitation of a 6-unit classroom block for the Owusu Asare Primary School and the Atebubu Magistrate Court.

The Atebubu District Assembly has spent a total amount of GH¢420,000.00 for the rehabilitation of a 6-unit classroom block for the Owusu Asare Primary School and the Atebubu Magistrate Court.

Both facilities which were in a deplorable state were given the facelift to avoid their total collapse and ensure that students learn under conducive atmosphere, and to ensure smooth justice delivery.

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Sanja Nanja who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com said a number of projects are currently on going while contracts have been awarded for the commencement of others in due course.

The provision of those projects is expected to bring an end to the numerous problems confronting residents as a result of the absence of the facilities.

Mr. Nanja disclosed that a 10-seater toilet facility for the Atebubu District Hospital is almost completed while the hospital mortuary, one of the uncompleted projects inherited from the previous administration is expected to be completed for commissioning early next year.
