The Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of Keta Business School, Mr. Emmanuel K. Heloo has called for more support to help increase infrastructure and other facilities for the school.
HE expressed regret that even though the school was the second oldest in the region, not much can be seen of it in the area of infrastructure.
Mr. Heloo made the call in an address during a sord-cutting exercise performed by Mr. Peter Armstrong Dagbui, Keta Municipal Planning Officer, for the construction of GH¢480.000 boy dormitory block for the school initiated by the Parents Teachers Association (PTA).
The cerenomy was witnessed by members of the PTA, chiefs, opinion leaders and old students.
The headmaster, Mr. A.Y. Akpakli, said the facility when completed would go a long way to improve on the enrolment of boys, adding that students who reside outside the community would also have the peace of mind to go about their studies when given boarding facilities in the school.
He also hinted that the next target for the school which would be pursued vigourously is the expansion of the dinning hall and the kitchen.
