Aburi District Police Command Receives New Patrol Vehicle from EEZZY Group Foundation
The Aburi District Command of the Ghana Police Service has received a brand-new Nissan Pick-Up vehicle from philanthropist and Akuapim South resident, Mr. Mohammed, through the EEZZY Group Foundation, in a gesture aimed at strengthening security operations within the municipality.

The vehicle was officially handed over during a brief ceremony attended by key stakeholders, including the Municipal Chief Executive for Akuapim South, Hon. Paul Osae Offei.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Offei commended officers of the Ghana Police Service for their unwavering commitment to maintaining peace, law and order across the municipality. He noted that the addition of the new vehicle would significantly enhance the operational capacity of the Aburi District Police Command and improve its ability to respond promptly to security challenges.
“The police continue to play a critical role in safeguarding lives and property. This vehicle will boost their mobility and operational efficiency, enabling them to serve the public more effectively,” he stated.
The Municipal Chief Executive also praised the generosity of Mr. Mohammed and the EEZZY Group Foundation for their contribution towards strengthening security in the municipality. He described the donation as a demonstration of responsible corporate citizenship and a valuable complement to government efforts aimed at supporting security institutions and promoting community development.

Hon. Offei emphasized the importance of collaboration between public institutions, private organizations and individuals in addressing community needs, particularly in the area of security.
Representatives of the Police Command expressed appreciation for the donation, noting that the vehicle would support patrol operations and enhance the Command’s capacity to maintain law and order within the district.
The donation underscores the growing role of private sector and philanthropic partnerships in supporting national development and strengthening public institutions.
Stakeholders at the ceremony noted that such collaborations are essential for building safer, more secure and resilient communities, while fostering collective responsibility for development.
The Nissan Pick-Up is expected to improve mobility for officers and enhance police visibility across Akuapim South Municipality, contributing to efforts to maintain peace and security in the area.
