The event was led by the Volta Regional Director of the National Apprenticeship Programme, the Anloga District Director of the Youth Employment Agency, and the District Chief Executive (DCE). Thirty beneficiaries and six trainers received critical tools for their vocations, including sewing machines, industrial sewing machines, knitting machines, and hair dryers.

In his address to the new graduates, the DCE reinforced the government's commitment to youth empowerment. He highlighted the programme’s core mission: to foster self-reliance and create lasting, dignified employment opportunities for young people throughout the district.

This direct support is designed to remove a key barrier to entry for skilled trades, allowing the beneficiaries to transition from training to professional practice without delay.
