The facility running into hundreds of thousands of Ghana Cedis was funded by ROTRAC a branch of ROTARY CLUB, the traditional council and parents of the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, the DCE noted President John Mahama’ s resseting agenda includes promoting quality education through teaching and learning with equitable provision of educational infrastructure in the district and across the nation.

She underscored the significance of proper hygiene in schools stating that sanitation is critical to the accelerated development of every community. Hon. Ankrah pledged her continued support at all times and sought for the commitment of the school authorities to maintaining the facility to achieve its intended purposes.

The Headmistress, Mrs Augusta Anim acknowledged the financial support offered by ROTRAC and the other stakeholders while she expressed profound gratitude to the DCE for the urgent commissioning of the project. She stressed the need for the pupils to have a conducive environment to study pointing out that, the facility serves as another area in promoting education and proper hygiene.

Mrs Anim in her presentation called on other stakeholders for more support to boost teaching and learning in the school.

In attendance at the event were the District Director of Education, Mr. David Akomea Asokwa, staff and pupils of the school as well as other dignitaries.
