The Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly will soon complete work on an Information Communication Technology Centre (ICT) at Adukrom to improve the teaching and learning of ICT in the area.

Disclosing this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Presiding Member for assembly Mr. Anokye Frimpong said the lack of ICT center in the area has been a source of worry to stakeholders of the district, hence the need to put up the structure.

He however bemoaned that late disbursement of the common fund has hindered smooth progress of the project.

He therefore called for assistants from other stake-holders to complete the project as scheduled.

Although the ICT centre is yet to be completed, Mr. Frimpong took the opportunity to appeal to benevolent organizations to help stock it with computers and internet connectivity.
