Accommodation for District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Asokore Manpong Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region is said to have reached its completion stage with only few works left to be done.

The ultra modern 4 bedroom house is expected to serve as a permanent place of accommodation for the persons who will hold office as DCE’s in the municipality.

Disclosing this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Presiding Member for the Assembly, Mr. Anokye Frimpong noted staff bungalows were also ongoing at Manpong to accommodate some Heads of Departments at the assembly.

He however bemoaned that numerous ongoing projects in the municipality have been halted due to lack of funds to push for their completion, but was quick to add that the assembly was keen to complete all ongoing projects immediately the District Assembly’s Common fund (DACF) and District Development funds (DDF) are released.
