The Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly has taken a new swift on education infrastructure as the assembly is putting up two separate 2-storey classroom blocks for Sepe-Tinpom Primary B and Asokore Manpong Primary schools in the area.

The two projects which were financed through the District Assembly’s Common fund (DACF) will include 6 spacious classrooms, offices and stores and are currently at separate levels of completion.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com’s Ashanti Regional correspondent, the Presiding Member for the Assembly, Mr. Anokye Frimpong disclosed that the assembly is aiming to complete the project in due course.

The projects, according to him had delayed due to financial constraints on the path of the assembly but revealed that the assembly was gearing up efforts to complete the projects to ensure their intended purposes.

He further expressed hopes that the move could go a long way to improve teaching and learning as the assembly seeks to improve and bring quality education to the doorstep of the individual Ghanaian citizenry.

However, in other related development, the soft spoken presiding member also announced that the assembly’s was close to completing its new administration block. He noted that the project was close to completion with only few touches left to be done.

Mr. Frimpong also added that the new administration block project was also financed through DACF.
