Information available to Peacefmonline.com indicates that fire has gutted the Makola Market, specifically the Aflao station in Accra.

According to an eyewitness, the fire started around 5:30am Friday. 

There is worry that the fire could spread to a fuel station nearby and could cause more havoc. 

The Fire Service is currently at the scene battling to control the inferno.
