NKORANZA S: More schools receive mosquito nets
The Nkoranza South Municipal School Health Education Programme (SHEP) of the Ghana Education Service has received 6,000 Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Mosquito Nets for distribution to pupils in basic schools.

The Nkoranza South Municipal School Health Education Programme (SHEP) of the Ghana Education Service has received 6,000 Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Mosquito Nets for distribution to pupils in basic schools.
Mr Kwasi Djan, Nkoranza South Municipal SHEP Coordinator, told the Ghana News Agency that head teachers of the beneficiary schools were given orientation to educate parents on the effective use of the nets.
He commended the National Malaria Control Programme for efforts to reduce malaria among pregnant women and children who are most vulnerable to the disease.
Mr Djan expressed the need for parents to ensure that their children sleep under the nets to prevent them from contracting malaria.
