Mrs. Christiana Kobinah has been reappointed by President John Dramani Mahama as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Tarkwa Nsuaem in the Western Region.

The MCE however received her first appointment in the erstwhile Mills administration and subsequent to her second nomination by the present administration after performing comparably well under the previous administration.

Mrs. Kobinah, whose vision is typically aimed at fastraking infrastructure development and improvement in livelihood, is again expected to deliver up to expectation in effort to achieve her goal.

She is also expected also strengthen bilateral relations with the many mining companies, and industrial laboratories, which are privately owned and serve as strategic development partners to the Municipality.

Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality so far covers 17 towns and has a total population of about 250,000 at a growth rate of 2.97 percent.
