As part of efforts to improve the living conditions of teachers in the area, the Sefwi Wiawso District Assembly is constructing a new teacher’ quarters’ facility at Wiase, a subsurb community in the district.

The facility, which was financed through the District’s Development Fund (DDF), is however expected to go a long way to improve the living standard of teachers in the area.

Mr. L. A. Santana, the District Chief Executive who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com, however expressed optimism that the project could help improve education in the area.

Still on education, work is almost completed on a 6 unit classroom block at Asafo to boost teaching and learning in the area. 

Meanwhile, work had reached an appreciable level of construction when Ghanadistricts.com visited the project site to have a firsthand look at the extent of work done on the said facility.
