SHAMA:Toilet facilities for two communities

Residents of Daboasi Junction and Dwomo communities in the Shama District in the Western Region have been provided with 10 and 16 seater Water Closet toilet facilities respectively to enhance sanitation in the areas.

Residents of Daboasi Junction and Dwomo communities in the Shama District in the Western Region have been provided with 10 and 16 seater Water Closet toilet facilities respectively to enhance sanitation in the areas. 

The projects were specially designed by the assembly under the ruling party’s “Better Ghana” agenda initiative to ensure that various deprived communities in the district is provided with toilet facilities.
Information gathered indicated that the facilities are duly completed and currently in use to ensure their intended purpose.
Meanwhile, the assembly with funding from the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF) has renovated and expanded the Supomu Health Center as part of efforts to improve health delivery in the area.
